Winter weather may bring low temperatures or road and driving conditions causing changes in school operations such as early dismissal or closure.
OKU officials will make every effort to provide parents with as much notice as possible concerning such events.
We provide this information to families in a variety of ways:
• School messaging system (Text or call) - This uses a phone number parents/guardians provide to the school;
• Social media posts on Facebook (@okucougars1) and Instagram (@okucougars)
• District Website: www.okunion.k12.ok.us
• Local news stations
