High school senior and junior concurrent college enrollment students are eligible for up to 18 hours of tuition waiver during the fall, spring and summer terms. Students are required to pay all other expenses including fees, books and tuition above 18 hours per year.

 

Fees: $97 per credit hour

Step 1: The student is required to have a 3.0 GPA (unweighted) OR a 19 on the ACT/PreACT Composite.
If you do not clear each ACT subject with a 19+ score or have not taken the ACT, you are required to take placement testing.

Step 3: Send us your high school transcript through Parchment:

Step 4: Permission from parent/guardian and principal/high school counselor is required.
The RSU admission application requires the student to provide those email addresses.
An email will then be automatically sent to those email addresses for them to grant the student permission.

NEO-Miami

The High School Tuition Waiver provides for up to 18 eligible credit hours for all Oklahoma seniors, and up to 12 eligible credit hours for all Oklahoma juniors. It is the responsibility of the student to pay for any course fees and materials.

 

Fees: $64.75 per credit hour

Seniors and Juniors must achieve a minimum composite score of 19 on the National ACT/ Pre-ACT or 3.0 high school GPA.

If the student does not have a National ACT/ Pre-ACT score of 19 in the subject area they wish to enroll in,
they will be allowed to take one placement test per subject per semester.
If they receive a qualifying score on the placement test, they will be allowed to enroll in the subject area tested.

Seniors
Oklahoma resident seniors eligible for concurrent enrollment will not incur out-of-pocket costs for dual credit course tuition and fees. Eligible seniors receive a tuition waiver from the state (up to 18 hours total) and a scholarship from the OSU Foundation to cover fees for online dual enrollment. There is a one-time application fee required for admission to OSU.

 

Juniors
Oklahoma juniors receive a reduced rate of $775 per course for the online concurrent program. Oklahoma resident high school juniors can receive a tuition waiver for up to nine credit hours for the 2024-2025 academic year. This offer is available to the first 100 students who enroll for each eligible semester (summer 2024, fall 2024 and spring 2025). Students are still responsible for paying course fees.

Oklahoma State University accepts application fee waivers from ACT, SAT and NACAC.
You can have your high school guidance counselor forward your application fee waiver
through email at admissions@okstate.edu, by fax at (405) 744-7092, or through the mail to the address listed above.
Oklahoma State University also accepts application fee waivers from students based on demonstrated need
(for example: a student on free or reduced lunch programs). Your high school guidance counselor should send a letter that explains the demonstrated need through email at admissions@okstate.edu, or by fax (405) 744-7092. 

 

 2.Submit official transcripts & test scores

Have your high school send Oklahoma State University your official transcript through Parchment:

We accept test scores reported on your official high school transcript. 

 3. Beginning in summer 2022, students have the option to apply to OSU without consideration of a test score. Students who select this option on the application will be considered for admission based on a full review of their high school transcript. Class rank is not required for test optional admission.  

 

4. Submit a signed concurrent approval form

Once you've completed your online application for concurrent enrollment, you will need to get approval from a parent or guardian, as well as a high school official to approve your participation. You can submit an electronic approval request form available upon completion of the online application.

Seniors: TCC will waive tuition via Oklahoma’s senior tuition waiver program. By Oklahoma statute, each Oklahoma high school senior who meets the eligibility requirements for concurrent enrollment shall be entitled to receive a tuition waiver equivalent to the amount of resident tuition for a maximum of 18 eligible credit hours in their senior year beginning June 1 following the eleventh grade. The tuition waiver may be used in the summer, fall, or spring. 

 

Juniors: In addition to the state of Oklahoma’s senior tuition waiver, TCC provides a tuition waiver to each Oklahoma high school junior who meets the admission and enrollment eligibility requirements for high school students. Juniors will be awarded a tuition waiver equivalent to the amount of resident tuition for a maximum of 12 eligible credit hours in their junior year.
